Welcome to Bedford Elementary School
Home of the Bedford Bees!
Nestled in the northwestern section of Baltimore County in the area known as Pikesville, Bedford Elementary School opened in 1963 as a small community school and it has remained that way ever since. Our overall school community is comprised of several smaller neighborhood communities: Williamsburg, Villa Nova, Sudbrook, Pahl’s Crossing to name a few.
Currently there are approximately 315 students in grades one through five, with two full day kindergarten classes housed at Campfield Early Learning Development Center.
With a student to teacher ratio of 23 to 1, Bedford is able to remain a child centered school with a tremendous amount of focus on achievement, school spirit, success, high expectations, and feelings of self-worth.
